The Production of Flax

Flax, the common name for the fiber obtained from a herb of the Linaceae family, including members of the genus Linum.  
Native to Urorinsa and the southern reaches of Ulinium, flax is one of two major sources of cloth fiber. Flax is obtained from several cultivated varieties of L. usitatissimum, and is usually harvested from plants grown for that purpose.
